CRA has announced on December 30, 2024 that it would extend the 2024 charitable donation deadline to February 28, 2025. However, due to the prorogation of Parliament, the extension is now in doubt. Until further notice, we will be processing receipts as normal, i.e. Tax receipts will reflect the date the offering was received or postmarked. Any offerings received in January, even the dates on the envelopes/cheques were marked as 2024, will be included in the 2025 offerings.'
